Krabi is ready to hold Ao Nang Beat Festival Countdown to 2022 Celebrating the festival of colour Krabi to start the New Year with “Ao Nang Beat

After the government has eased the covid-19 prevention and reopened the Kingdom to welcome back international visitors since 1 November 2021, many organizations have responded to the movement by launching various campaigns to recover the economy. To welcome tourists both international and local tourists, Krabi is holding “Ao Nang Beat Festival Krabi Countdown to 2022” and other events to kick off the New Year and enliven Krabi’s tourism.

 “Ao Nang Beat Festival Krabi Countdown to 2022” which will be held under Safe & Fun with Covid-Free Setting measures by cooperation between Krabi Department of Public Health, Krabi Hospital, and Wattanapat Hospital Ao Nang. The event will be held from 30 December 2021 to 1 January 2022 at the Sailfish Sculpture and Ao Nang Landmark. 

The countdown event will consist of 3 main zones. The first zone is a check-in zone at the Sailfish Sculpture where tourists can enjoy taking photos with lightning shows with the “Underwater World” concept. The second zone is a concert zone that strictly enforces preventive measures of limited seats and social distancing. All spectators must register through the application “AI Check-in” and must show proof of complete vaccination (2 doses) or covid-free proof (issued no less than 72 hours). Enjoy a fun concert from many famous artists, along with other countdown activities and firework shows. The last zone is the food & drink & shopping zone that gathers booths from various sectors and organizations in Krabi.

However, the countdown event is not the only exciting activity happening in Krabi during the New Year season. Krabi is holding 2 other events to help drive tourism sectors. Enjoy wandering around the OTOP Fair that gathers more than 300 OTOP booths for visitors to shop to their heart’s content at Ao Nang Landmark from 29 December 2021 to 4 January 2022. Also, on 1 January 2022, Maya Bay, Phi Phi Le Island will reopen to tourists under the covid-free setting. The famous beach in Hat Noppharat Thara-Mu Koh Phi Phi Marine National Park, Krabi will be welcoming a limited number of tourists per day and tourists must pre book their visiting slot via an online application.
